Social Media Manager

We are seeking a skilled and creative Social Media Manager who can plan, create, and execute engaging content that drives measurable results for our clients.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and manage social media calendars, produce high-quality content across platforms, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and manage multiple accounts efficiently.

The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical — someone who understands what makes content engaging and how to use data to continuously improve performance. This is a hands-on role focused on execution and time management, and building strong client relationships.

  • Hybrid role, with ability to work in office or remote

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly content calendars aligned with each client’s brand voice, marketing goals, and audience insights.
  • Identify trends and opportunities across social platforms to keep client content fresh and relevant.
  • Write, design, and schedule posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms using tools like Airtable and Hootsuite.
  • Travel to client locations in Jacksonville to capture and curate photos and videos for organic and paid use.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, accessibility best practices, and platform requirements.
  • Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, comments, and messages on client pages.
  • Foster authentic engagement that builds brand loyalty and community.
  • Track KPIs such as engagement rate, reach, follower growth, and website traffic.
  • Analyze post and campaign performance to identify insights and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports summarizing results, insights, and next steps.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for social media clients — maintaining regular communication, presenting results, and gathering feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, copy, paid media, PR, and web) to ensure cohesive, integrated campaigns.
  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, staying on top of timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
  • Manage time effectively to meet multiple posting deadlines across various client accounts.
  • Stay up to date on evolving social media tools, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Participate in internal reviews, brainstorms, and creative planning sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience managing social media accounts for brands or agencies.
  • Proven track record of creating social media posts that drive engagement and measurable results.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-client environment is a plus. 
  • Deep understanding of major platforms (Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter, Pinterest).
  • Experience with planning, concepting and designing social media posts, graphics, stories, and reels using Canva, Adobe, Creatopy, or other design platform.
  • Skilled in planning, writing, and designing content that aligns with brand voice and visual identity.
  • Proficient with scheduling and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite.
  • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills, with an eye for design and detail.
  • Comfortable planning and capturing on-site photos and videos using a smartphone and DSLR camera.
  • Ability to make basic edits to photos and videos, prepping them for use on social media, using Adobe or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of paid social ad management and boosting strategies.
  • Comfortable tracking KPIs and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both client-facing and internal interactions.
  • Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative team player who also thrives working independently.
  • Passionate about creating content that inspires, informs, and drives connection.
