Paquin Entertainment Group, a leading Canada-based entertainment company, has reimagined the way audiences experience art, history, and pop culture through multiple immersive experiences.

When the company decided to bring its popular production “Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” to Jacksonville, stakeholders engaged Wingard to generate local interest through public relations.

Our work on behalf of Beyond Van Gogh garnered more than 95 million media impressions throughout its seven-month run — including nearly 20 million before the exhibition even opened to the public.

More than 130,000 tickets were sold in Jacksonville, breathing new life into our Downtown’s North Core (NoCo), and celebrating a 19th-century artist in a way uniquely fit for a 21st-century audience. Before getting started, we conducted extensive research on what had been done to promote the show in other markets, including reviewing case studies and programming, to gain an understanding of successful strategies. We then planned and executed the Jacksonville engagement of the experience, working alongside Paquin’s national PR and media teams, the City of Jacksonville, nonprofit partners, the host venue’s ownership team and management, and our local media to share this one-of-a-kind experience through a multi-tiered public relations strategy — resulting in hundreds of media hits from the preview phase to closing day.

In 2015, our firm was selected through a competitive bid process to provide strategic public relations support for the organization’s operations in Northeast Florida and expansion throughout the state.
